I admire faith
I admire those who have faith.
I admire those who have faith to believe
I admire those who have faith in things hoped for, but not seen.
I admire those who have faith in the face of opposition and ridicule
I admire those who have faith to stand up for what they believe is right.
I admire those who have faith in something that on the surface seems impossible.
I admire those who have faith in a story they read about and prayed about to know if it is true.
I admire those who have faith in something that happened in a faraway place, but still have the faith to believe.
I admire those who have the faith and the courage of their conviction to determine what isn’t working for them and to walk away.
I admire those who have the faith to look their family, loved ones and friends in the eye and tell them it isn’t what they want.
I admire those who have the faith to tell their family, loved ones and friends that it is what they want and need.
I admire those who have the faith to figure out what is really important and what is not.
I admire those who have the faith to fully embrace what they profess and live it.
I admire those who have faith to tell others about they believe and why.
I admire those who have faith not to push it on them.
I admire those who have faith in themselves
I admire those who have faith in the Savior.
I admire those who have faith
I admire faith.

That was nice. We need more efforts at poetry. Thanks Jeff.
faith is over-rated. j/k 🙂
great structure; great poem!
I admire your post.
Uplifting, Jeff.
Poetry ROCKS!
I read your article Mormons and Dr. Laura. I just wrote a long comment only to learn comments were off! Yes, she is very fond of Mormons and they like her. I could go on more about that but am struck with her recent “racist rant” and her son.
BTW, her calls are screened. I’m not saying she hasn’t had a range of callers that the screebers will allow to talk to her but it appears they often go for some dimwitted people. It makes her look better. She is very isolated in her home studio surrounded by like minded workers. Since she lives and plays near my favorite places I don’t just see her as she is on the radio. It is not that she can’t be delightful and friendly at times, it is her whole person. She is loathed and detested. Some rich elites and their laborers do like her or must deal with her and pretend to like her. The lies and cover up about her son didn’t just start with his racist rant from Afghanistan in 2007 on the internet. When people learn more about his life her days will be numbered. A bigger tragedy to me is her mother’s life story and lonely death. Her body rotted for months. No one cared about her and she was said to be a pleasant person who was loyal to her daughter even after she got the boot. Laura tells another story. It seems whatever Yolanda’s mental and emotional problems were her daughter solved them by abandoning her. She couldn’t type or something. When I see Dr. Laura around I think of her relationship with her mother. It is the one thing that makes me feel sympathy for Deryk. He was not allowed to see his Grandmother. He may have met her a few times or something but they were kept separated. He is his mother’s son and like her in many ways. I always wonder how he was effected by that relationship and abandonment. It is unfortunate that more people do not take the time to learn more about her, her family and what these very rich radio personalities are really up to. You may like the advice that Bernie Madoff was giving but do you really want a liar and a charlatan to handle your retirement? Maybe he was just an entertainer, too.
Nice poem Jeff. It looks like you put a good deal of work into it.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the encouraging words. I am not a big poetry writer. Not that I really should admit this, but I essentially wrote this in 15 minutes sitting atthe airport in Stockholm the other morning waiting to come home.
I had the concept but no idea at all how to express it. this is what came out. I edited a little and published it.
